May 5th’s Emergency Preparedness “3333 Kick-off” event was a great success. People from all over the community came together to learn how to prepare for the emergencies we may face living in South Orange County — in the first 3 minutes, 3 hours, 3 days, and 3 months. We got a great overview of what we need to do, personally, as well as how we can help our neighbors to become better prepared. Afterwards, attendees reported:

“It was great! Lots of information, and now I’m all charged up to not only get myself more prepared, but to get my neighbors on board.” And . . .

“Good program! I thought of some things I can do better. And I will!”

A big thank you to Nancy Sutherland for organizing such an informative and well-organized event. We look forward to the next one!
